Are driving test examiners strict?

Driving examiners will always give you a fair test, based on the same standards every time. They will also have different personalities, some will be very chatty throughout the test and others will not be. They will however all be polite and courteous, they will not chat to you whilst you are busy perhaps negotiating a complex junction as they do not want to distract you, they will also give you directions clearly and in good time. It is also important to ask the examiner to repeat a instruction is you are unclear.
Do not worry driving examiners will not try and trick you. Make the most of your driving experience and do not be scared of the examiner, they want you to do your very best and show them that you are a safe and responsible driver.
