How do I drive on a dual carriageway?

When driving on a dual carriageway, keep in the left lane (unless overtaking) and only overtake when it is safe to do so, following the Mirror, Signal, Manoeuvre routine. Unlike a motorway, you're likely to see cyclists, learner drivers, slow farm vehicles, right hand turns, traffic lights and roundabouts on a dual carriageway.
